ONE & TWO POTOMAC YARD
One & Two Potomac Yard, located in Arlington, Va., is the first completed project at Potomac Yard, the urban mixed-use project just south of Washington, D.C. Standing twelve stories high, One & Two Potomac Yard’s 650,000 square feet were completed in May 2006 and received a LEED Gold Rating in June 2006. Three-fourths, almost 400,000 square feet, of the building is occupied by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
Potomac Yard is one of the most innovative urban, mixed-use development projects in the nation. Crescent’s purchase of the project in 2001 jump-started the long-awaited re-development of a former rail yard next to Reagan National Airport. Located minutes from Downtown Washington, DC, Potomac Yard is high-quality, mixed-use community of townhouses, apartments, hotels, retail stores, offices, open space, pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods, parks and playfields, and a transit-oriented transportation systems. Crescent was the master developer of this project and sold finished pads to local developers starting in 2003 and ending in 2006.
