Crescent Resources Multifamily Development Group
to Open Circle at Concord Mills
New community brings innovative approach to
apartment living in Concord
Charlotte, N.C., April 1, 2009 … Crescent Resources Multifamily Development Group is opening Circle at Concord Mills, a community that is committed to the environment and promotes healthy, fun living with easy access to the attractions available around Concord Mills mall. The community opens this month as the first 100 percent smoke-free community in Concord.
Circle at Concord Mills embodies Crescent’s innovative approach to apartment living, offering residents the opportunity to live in upscale, environmentally friendly communities focused on enriching their social experiences. This community, and all Circle communities, will be 100 percent smoke-free to promote clean air in residential areas and common spaces. Circle communities will offer unique programming – from volunteering to pet happy hours – aimed at fostering a sense of community among residents.
“With Circle at Concord Mills, Crescent is poised to meet the needs of today’s modern apartment residents by building a sense of community and doing something good for the environment,” said Jason McArthur, regional vice presidentof Crescent Resources Multifamily Development Group. “Residents will have quick access to Concord Mills mall and surrounding attractions, Lowe’s Motor Speedway and Interstate 85.”
Crescent Resources is pursuing Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification for Circle at Concord Mills’ clubhouse. The clubhouse employs low-energy doors and windows, low-emissions carpet and paint, native landscaping, water-efficient landscaping, recycled building materials and more green-building features. Thirty acres of preserved woods and wetlands surround the community, and Crescent is pursuing status as an Audubon International-certified community.
Circle at Concord Mills is about 15 miles northeast of uptown Charlotte off Concord Mills Boulevard. The community will offer one-, two- and three-bedroom homes with available garages. Homes feature faux granite counters, ENERGY STAR® qualified appliances, designer lighting and private patios. The clubhouse will be the center of life, with a resort-style pool flanked by outdoor fireplaces, a 24-hour fitness center, billiards area and entertaining kitchen. Residents can enjoy courtesy bicycles, a leash-free dog park and a community event coordinator. Visit Circle at Concord Mills at 8510 Elmhurst Lane NW, Concord, N.C.
Circle at South End opens in May in Charlotte’s historic South End neighborhood. Two more Circle communities opened earlier this year in Jacksonville, Fla., and Tampa, Fla.
