Brooksville, Fla. – The PGA Tour’s second-stage Q-School event was held Nov. 12-15 at Southern Hills. More than 70 players competed in the event to get one step closer to securing a PGA Tour Card for the 2009 season. Southern Hills is one of only six clubs nationwide chosen to host this event. Lake James, N.C. –The Asheville chapter of the American Institute of Architects selected Camp Lake James and its architect Bruce Johnson for a 2008 merit award. The Camp and 11 other projects were selected from a pool of more than 80 applicants.
