Tour Hidden Lake This Fall
Parade of Homes is just around the corner, so make plans to visit Hidden Lake! Last year, thousands of visitors saw first-hand what makes this such a special community. This year, we are unveiling a new waterfront home built by Ange Signature Homes that is sure to elicit ‘oohs’ and ‘aahs.’ The 5,762-square-foot home features an octagonal lake viewing room, plenty of outdoor living space and a lavish owner’s suite situated on 1.24 waterfront acres. This home, along with other completed homes, will be open the following weekends from noon to 5 p.m.

Hidden Lake has also become a Certified Gold Audubon International Signature Sanctuary, only the fifth community in North Carolina to achieve this recognition (two other Crescent communities – Black Forest on Lake James and the Sanctuary in Charlotte – have received the honor). These honors recognize the efforts of the development team to ensure the community makes a minimum impact on the environment. Raleigh Receives More Accolades
According to MSNBC, Raleigh, N.C., is the best place to be in the country right now. MSNBC ranked the city first in its list of top places to live in the United States. Forbes gave the city the same position for 2008 and 2007 – achieving the back-to-back top ranking is truly rare. Kiplinger’s listed Raleigh as No. 2 this year but advised that the city could reach the top next year.

As noted in the Triangle Business Journal, economist John Connaughton forecasts that the state’s economy will grow 2.2 percent in 2008, marking the seventh consecutive year of expansion. The state is expected to add nearly 35,000 net jobs this year.
