Raleigh Accolades Continue
According to MSNBC, Raleigh, N.C., is the best place to be in the country right now. MSNBC ranked the city first in its list of top places to live in the United States. Forbes gave the city the same position for 2008 and 2007 – achieving the back-to-back top ranking is truly rare. Kiplinger’s listed Raleigh as No. 2 this year but advised that the city could reach the top next year.

As noted in the Triangle Business Journal, economist John Connaughton forecasts that the state’s economy will grow 2.2 percent in 2008, marking the seventh consecutive year of expansion. The state is expected to add nearly 35,000 net jobs this year.

Hidden Lake is Honored
Hidden Lake has become a Certified Gold Audubon International Signature Sanctuary, only the fifth community in North Carolina to achieve this recognition (two other Crescent communities – Black Forest on Lake James and the Sanctuary in Charlotte – have received the honor). In the coming weeks, Hidden Lake is also expected to earn its Triple Diamond status from Audubon International, which is the highest level of certification in its Gold Signature Program.

These honors recognize the efforts of the development team to ensure the community makes a minimum impact on the environment. This is not only the right thing to do for Mother Nature’s sake – it also allows her to take center stage. And, everyone stepping foot on this beautiful property appreciates that. The homes available at Hidden Lake are as green as the community in which they reside. Click here to learn more.
