Full-Time Activities
Director = Full-Time Fun
Orchard Park, Springfield's 5-acre amenity area, is where
the fun begins at Springfield. A full-time activities director
plans year-round events – from summer camp to fitness
classes to family movie nights – around the state-of-the-art
activities center, three swimming pools (one with a slide),
six tennis courts and event pavilion. |

Play
Golf All Year Long
Springfield is designed with something for everyone, especially
golf lovers – 63 percent of all homes will be on the golf
course! As a resident of Springfield, you can purchase a season
pass for preferred play at Springfield Golf Club. And, the Club
also has updated its practice areas to get you ready for your round,
including a one-acre practice tee with 25 hitting stations, six
target greens and a putting green.

The 6,906-yard, 18-hole golf course follows the rolling terrain
of Fort Mill and slices through the oak and pine forest predominant
in this part of the South. Bridges take you across streams that
feed Sugar Creek, which borders Springfield. Although it was completed
in 2001, Springfield Golf Club was designed with an eye toward
the 1920s era, considered by experts to be the Golden Age of Architecture
in golf.
A new pro shop, snack bar and golf cart barn, including a fire
pit and covered pavilion for events, complement the golf course.
