LEED ™
One & Two Potomac Yard received a LEED Gold Rating from the USGBC in June 2006.
As a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, Crescent has always been committed to sustainable design and construction. Working closely with the James G. Davis Construction Company, Crescent incorporated many of the best environmental practices and sustainable design in One & Two Potomac Yard.
The project has exceeded guidelines for locally harvest materials (materials made within 500 miles), the use of recycled content in all the products and water efficiency. The project recycled close to 75% of the waste from construction and saved 20% more in energy savings over baseline, while maintaining the highest indoor air quality standards.
With over a dozen LEED accredited professionals on the One & Two Potomac Yard team, the One & Two Potomac Yard team is working closely with Arlington County, the USGBC and the EPA to make this a hallmark project for all involved.
