John A. Bonanno

Vice President, Engineering Services

John Bonanno joined Crescent Resources in 2004. As director of engineering and land development services, he provides expertise to project managers and business units, as well as technical support for identifying and acquiring future properties.

Bonanno previously served as the residential vice president for Crescent’s Atlanta region, as well as project manager and director of development for Atlanta. Before joining Crescent, he was the director of engineering for Ryland Homes in Fairfax, Va., senior vice president for Rochester & Associates in Atlanta and project manager for Mastromonaco Consulting Engineers in Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y.

Bonanno is a member of the Urban Land Institute’s Residential Neighborhood Development Council and the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Club. He is also an alumnus of the Urban Land Institute’s Atlanta Center for Leadership.

Bonanno received the J. Alton Wingate Award for Class of 2000 outstanding master’s in business administration graduate, and he was named Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges.

The New York native graduated from the New York Institute of Technology with a degree in architectural technologies and earned a master’s degree in business administration from Brenau University in Gainesville, Ga.

Crescent Resources is a real estate development company with interests throughout the southeastern United States. Established in 1969, the Charlotte-based company develops single-family, multifamily and resort residential communities. Crescent also owns and manages business and industrial parks and shopping centers.
