C. Ford Cox
Senior Vice President, Construction
As senior vice president of multifamily construction, Ford Cox oversees all Crescent Resources’ multifamily construction operations.
Before joining Crescent in 2006, Cox was vice president of construction for The Morgan Group, Inc. in Orlando, Fla.; Summit Contractors Group in Jacksonville, Fla.; and Lincoln Property Company and JPI Partners in Atlanta. Prior to these roles, Cox worked in Atlanta as chief estimator for Abrams Industries and Stratton & Company, and he was a senior civil estimator for Algernon Blair Industrial Contractors, Inc. He started his career as a cost engineer for Daniel Construction Company in Greenville, S.C.
Cox is a native of Owensboro, Ky., and he graduated from Western Kentucky College with a business degree.
Crescent Resources is a real estate development company with interests throughout the southeastern United States. Established in 1969, the Charlotte-based company develops single-family, multifamily and resort residential communities. Crescent also owns and manages business and industrial parks and shopping centers.
