Brenda M. Lenaburg
Vice President and Controller
Brenda Lenaburg was named vice president and controller of Crescent Resources in 2008. She is responsible for the consolidated accounting and reporting for Crescent and its subsidiaries.
Lenaburg first joined Crescent in 1998 as a project controller responsible for the accounting and reporting of various residential projects in North Carolina and South Carolina. She was named director of financial reporting in 2003. She left Crescent from 2005-2008 for the Schreiner Group in Huntersville, N.C., where she was the controller.
Prior to her work at Crescent, Lenaburg was auditor-in-charge for Deloitte & Touche in Charlotte, N.C., and systems analyst for Arthur Andersen in
St. Charles, Ill.
Lenaburg is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
The Wisconsin native earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a master’s degree in accounting from Northern Illinois University.
Crescent Resources is a real estate development company with interests throughout the southeastern United States. Established in 1969, the Charlotte-based company develops single-family, multifamily and resort residential communities. Crescent also owns and manages business and industrial parks and shopping centers.
